We are currently recruiting for a part-time Professor of Law, Business and Professional Practice for the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL). This is a 0.2 FTE role, requiring at least 2 days per month to be based in Milton Keynes. A PhD or doctorate qualification or equivalent, with substantial experience of high-quality research leadership is required.

The post holder will play a key role in developing the research capability and raising the research profile of the Faculty, Centre for Knowledge in Organisation and Professors (CKOP), as well as contribute to other centres such as Research into Employment, Empowerment, and Futures (REEF) and the Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership (CVSL).

In particular the appointed candidate will be expected to contribute into a generative way by supporting and encouraging other members of the faculty to craft and prepare research papers for publication in high quality journals, co-supervising PhD students, and providing guidance on attracting external funding for a diverse range of sources.

The successful candidate will also play a part in the academic life of the Department, and the Faculty as a whole, and in creating a vibrant research culture.
