10 x Fully Funded PhD Computer Science Studentships at Lancaster University

Lancaster University is the Times ‘University of The Year 2018’, 9th in the Guardian league tables, and the highest possible ranking of Gold in the UK government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

Title: PhD Studentships in Computing.

Qualification: PhD Computer Science.

Location: Lancaster University, North West England, UK.

Funding for: UK Students, EU Students, (or partial fee waiver for overseas students).

Award: Total £19,847 Tax free bursary per annum with annual increment (this figure includes the annual stipend, UK/EU tuition fees, and training/travel allowance per annum).

A typical award includes Fees Home/EU £4,260 for 3.5 years (Overseas £17,510 for 3 years); living allowance £14,777 + a training fund for travel/equipment.

With PhDs we encourage Lecture Associate opportunities with up to 6 hrs a week paid income. 

Hours: Full Time (20 days holiday allowance plus standard statutory and university closure days).
