Department of Marketing, Retail and Tourism is one of the UK’s largest providers of education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising and Branding, Public Relations, Retail Management, Place Management and Tourism Management. We are looking to appoint a Reader with a high quality personal research track record in the field of Marketing (specifically, Consumer Behaviour or B2B Marketing or Digital Marketing). You will also be an excellent learning and teaching practitioner, with experience of research-informed curriculum development, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and a student-centred approach.
You will work alongside the Head of Department and its Marketing professoriate (Prof Dominic Medway, Prof Gary Warnaby, Prof Peter Naude, Prof Cathy Parker, Prof Paul Smith, Prof Jenny Rowley, Prof Ben Kerrane) to undertake a research leadership role, managing key research active staff to enhance the Department's external profile, its research performance and the research environment.
