We are looking for a Programme Manager to manage all aspects of the Commission’s Fellowship and Studentship programmes, including administration, marketing and promotion. This will involve visits to appropriate institutions and organisations to raise awareness of the Commission’s award programmes and to attract new candidates, including from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). There will also be a requirement to support other Commission activities from time to time.
This is a new post which on average should require no more than two days a week but during the busiest time this can be up to 4 days, some of which may be worked from home.

We are looking for someone who will become an integral part of our small friendly team but who is also able to work on their own initiative and be proactive. You will hold a degree, preferably in Science or Engineering, and have a good working knowledge of the higher education, science and engineering communities in the UK. You must have a high level of proficiency in the use of Social Media and Microsoft Office. Knowledge or experience of SMEs and technology transfer partnerships will be an advantage.
Our offices are on the Imperial College South Kensington Campus, but we are not part of Imperial College, although we have a close working relationship with them.
