Fixed Term for 3.5 years (subject to satisfactory progress)

The Department of Law and Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University intend to appoint 2 Graduate Teaching Assistants on a 3.5 year fixed-term studentship from October 2019.

Graduate Teaching Assistants undertake certain teaching duties associated with the student experience, in addition to working towards a PhD qualification.

Please see the additional information attached to this advert for detail about our preferred supervision projects, as preference will be given to applicants with an interest in developing research in one of these areas. Applicants in other areas are also welcome.

As a minimum, applicants should possess a 1st or 2.1 Honours degree in Law, Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, Politics or a related social science discipline. A Masters degree in a relevant subject area would be an advantage.
