Would you like to create a better world through education? This is the Study Group vision and what drives us as a business. Our students travel from 142 different countries to prepare for higher education, and our mission is to provide them with a unique preparatory course that will have a truly positive impact on their future.
If you are a passionate Maths and Physics Tutor then this a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Leeds International Study Centre during an exciting phase of growth. Teaching Maths and Physics modules across our Science Level 3 and Level 6 (if Masters qualified) you’ll work with small groups of International students (15-20 class sizes).
The face can be fast, however, you’ll be part of a positive, supportive and collaborative team that stick together during these times. During your first week, there will be a full induction and integration into the team and the Study Group culture. Moving forward, you’ll then have regular one to ones, team meetings, and regular team building activities, to ensure you have the support you need.
In this job role, there are lots of personal development and wider career growth opportunities. We appreciate the importance of continuous progression and want you to feel that your teaching practice is developing so that you can provide the best experience for the students.
You’ll deliver Maths and Physics modules on our Science International foundation year programmes, and our Science pre-masters (if you are Masters qualified). You will play a key role by contributing to the development of materials and formative assessment. As a lead on a module, you will also liaise with external examiners and be responsible for the VLE. This job requires you to have contact with external stakeholders including link Tutors at the University. Your aim quite simply will be to empower students to reach the level they need to progress into University by giving student centred, engaging, and innovative lessons.
