CReAM has an opening for a Research Assistant position starting in October 2019 for nine months. An earlier or later start date may be possible.

The successful candidate will participate in projects funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council by Dr. Alice Kügler on labour economics, and will be encouraged to contribute to the overall activities of the research centre more broadly as well as attend seminars. The postholder will carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Dr. Alice Kügler, actively follow UCL policies including Equal Opportunities and Race Equality policies, and maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health & Safety Regulations.

The Research Assistant appointed will work at the offices of CReAM at the Department of Economics, Drayton House, 30 Gordon Street, London WC1H 0AX.

The researcher will have obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics or an Undergraduate Degree in Economics and currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Economics and will have demonstrated an aptitude for research. The researcher will have interpersonal skills and intellectual breadth.
