We are seeking a full-time web developer to participate in an extensive redesign/redevelopment of the FAIRsharing resource (https://fairsharing.org).
This position is a fixed-term 3 year post, renewable subject to funds, and based in a group of eight research software and knowledge engineers, led by Professor Susanna-Assunta Sansone (https://sansonegroup.eng.ox.ac.uk), at the Oxford e-Research Centre, within the University of Oxford’s Department of Engineering Science. The group research and develop methods and tools to improve data reuse; we work for data transparency, research integrity and the evolution of scholarly publishing.
This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio of international research and development activities that address the grand challenges related to information science and scholarly communications, where data quality and readiness for (re)use is a prerequisite for success. An interest in research data management and open science would therefore be beneficial.
