We are looking to recruit a Senior Development Executive for Physics, to join the friendly and successful team supporting major gift fundraising across the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of Physics, and other senior academics, to manage and forge relationships with high level benefactors to the Department of Physics. You will work on projects across experimental and theoretical physics as diverse as quantum, exoplanets, biological physics and nuclear fusion. You will be an integral part of the established MPLS Development team, which has an excellent track record of delivering against challenging targets.

To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated and enthusiastic about the impact of research and teaching in physics. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, an experienced development professional with a strong track record of securing major gifts, a confident approach to achieving ambitious income targets and the ability to think creatively. You will contribute to approaches to high level donors (corporate, trust and individual) and will also manage your own donor portfolio.
