An opportunity has arisen in our Legal, Ethics and Governance office. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Contracts Manager to join our close-knit and busy team.
The role is varied and you will have the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of scientists, research administrators and collaborators in order support the excellent science taking place at the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating the terms and conditions of a diverse range of research contracts and agreements, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure that they do not expose the Wellcome Sanger Institute to unreasonable risk and to ensure that they comply with current legislation, and internal policies and procedures.
You will be a strong communicator, have a flexible approach, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. You will enjoy dealing with complex scenarios and be solution focused.
