Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics/Data Analytics/Business Intelligence

About the role: As Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics/Business Intelligence, for next semester you will mainly be delivering teaching on modules at UG and PG levels. Ideally our role is fulltime and permanent BUT we also have additional teaching hours available on a flexible contract basis. 

Your Focus:

You will be required to deliver to modules at UG and PG levels. As an experienced academic, you will to have the ability to:  

  • Manage the delivery of modules including coordination of module activity to support a positive student learning experience.
  • Plan, prepare, teach/deliver modules and support student’s learning on a range of programmes and related subject areas
  • Provide guidance, support and tutorship for student groups and individuals as appropriate.
  • Carry out academic administration duties as required
  • Use business intelligence and data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, SPSS or similar) to deliver high quality student experience
  • Maintain personal and professional development in line with agreed appraisal and development programme in order to enhance personal knowledge and contribution to relevant activities. 

Bring your experience:

Doctorate (or close to completion) in Business Analytics/Business Intelligence or related discipline – essential

HE Lecturer experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Research Methods, Agile Project Management – Essential

HEA Fellowship or PGCE– desirable
