Salary: £39,609 to £48,677 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The University of Nottingham is seeking a Projects Manager to join our Faculty of Engineering. You will be managing the delivery of two Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funded projects, Connected Everything Network Plus, a national academic network focused on the challenges relating to digital manufacturing and DigiTOP, a research project looking to develop a predictive toolkit to optimise productivity and communication between human workers and robots.

You will be responsible for delivering full project management support to both networks, along with overseeing financial and budget management, acting as a primary contact and representing the networks at external meetings. As part of your role, you will have financial and budget management and monitor and review spending ensuring funds are allocated properly. You will have line management responsibility for 2 members of staff, one from each of the projects, and you will also be responsible for ensuring all activities are compliant with research data management and open access requirements.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience as a project manager, with the ability to manage different, complex and large scale projects simultaneously as well as develop and deliver strategic plans. You will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, including senior figures, and have the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate at all levels.

This is a part time (21.75h per week), fixed term post until 30 September 2021.
