The Faculty of Music wishes to appoint a Deputy Administrator to join its busy administrative team. The post is offered on a fixed-term basis for up to 14 months to cover maternity leave. 

The Deputy Administrator plays a key and senior role in the Faculty of Music’s administrative team. The Faculty of Music is a small but busy faculty, with a high research profile and a complex portfolio of activity. The Deputy Administrator has primary responsibility for dealing with all premises matters for Faculty, including acting as Departmental Safety Officer and line managing the Receptionist, all financial matters, including playing a key role in quarterly and budget reviews, and supporting the research activity, including enabling conferences and the REF. They may be asked to lead on certain projects on behalf of the Head of Administration and Finance. 

Applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience of financial administration. 

This full-time role is available from December 2019 and is fixed-term until 31 January 2021.
