Up to £35 per teaching hour plus additional payments of up to £1,000 per module for module development and up to £500 for provision of additional support to staff and students.

At this exciting time in our growth, the Beacon Business School invites expressions of interests from enthusiastic and inspiring teaching professionals, with significant teaching experience and subject expertise, to join our vibrant community of Visiting Lecturers.

You will contribute to the development and delivery of a range of high quality teaching and learning activities and resources. This could include delivering lectures, designing and delivering seminars, student support and marking.  You will also play a key role in the development, delivery and management of teaching and learning within the Business School.

We are seeking applicants who can teach at undergraduate Levels 4 and 5 in one or more of the following areas:

  • Business & Management
  • HRM
  • Business with Accounting
  • Marketing
  • Economics
  • IT

Example modules include (but not restricted to): Business Accounting; Management Accounting; Financial Reporting & Analysis; Preparing Financial Forecasts; Statistics for Business; HRM; Managing People and Organisations; Business Contractual Relationships; Continuous Workforce Development; Grievance and Disciplinary Handling; Marketing; International Marketing; Information Technology; ICT in Business; Economics; Business Communication; Business Culture & Strategy; Behavioural Skills for Business; Presentation Skills; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Business Law.

You will have a postgraduate qualification in the discipline, a teaching qualification, and extensive teaching and learning experience within your subject specialism.
