We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join Dr Nguyen’s group to study macromolecular complexes involved telomere maintenance in yeast using an integrated biochemical and structural approach with a focus on cryo-EM.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Molecular Biology or related field with a strong background in protein-nucleic acid biochemistry and structural biology (either X-ray crystallography or cryo-EM). Prior experience in any of yeast genetics, cell biology and eukaryotic protein expression would be beneficial. We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious scientist keen to work on a challenging project with good communication skills to join our newly established friendly and supportive team.
This is a 3-year position and is located at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK, which provides excellent in-house scientific core facilities and highly collaborative working environment.
