The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute (THIS Institute) seeks a highly organised Communications Administrator to provide administrative support to the communications team, and wider institute, to ensure the smooth running of all activities.
Our work at THIS Institute is underpinned by the principle that efforts to improve healthcare should always be based on the highest quality evidence. We work alongside NHS patients and staff, as well as academics and the public, to produce evidence about improvement that is both highly relevant and scientifically excellent.
The Communications Administrator will work support multiple communications projects. The workload will be varied and therefore an ability to prioritise and organise your work efficiently will be required. Applicants will also require excellent communication skills and be highly IT literate.
Responsibilities include: organising events and meetings, providing administrative support to senior staff, taking meeting minutes, making travel arrangements, booking accommodation, responding to email enquiries, collecting and collating data, and maintaining records.
This role is a full-time position but we welcome applications from individuals who wish to be considered for part-time working (minimum of 29.6 hours per a week, 80% FTE).
The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2020.
The post holder will be based at the Clifford Allbutt Building, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cambridge CB2 0AH (approximately 2 miles south of city centre).
