Institute of Irish Studies
As a result of funding provided by the Government of Ireland, the Institute of Irish Studies wishes to appoint a university teacher in Irish language from 1 October 2019 to teach university level courses in Irish language and culture.
The post requires two classes a week to be taught at Beginner’s Level and two classes a week for advanced learners of Irish. You will also contribute to courses on Irish culture relating to the language. As well as preparing for university level exams, you may help students prepare towards TEG examinations. You would also be expected to help develop projects and events linked with the Irish language delivered by the Institute of Irish Studies.
You should have a University level Irish language qualification.
The post is fixed term until 31 August 2022.
