Fixed term for 36 months
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Prof Steven Pollard (University of Edinburgh) to study mechanisms of self-renewal and transcriptional regulation in neural stem cells and brain cancer stem cells. Preferred candidates will have previous experience using molecular, developmental, and/or stem cell approaches in mammalian or non-vertebrate model systems. We are especially interested in applicants with expertise in either (1) bioinformatics and computational analysis of transcriptomics and epigenomics datasets (2) spatial regulation of gene expression or (3) transcription factor biochemistry and motif analysis.
