Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Critical Public Health within the Usher Institute, Edinburgh Medical School. The Usher Institute has an excellent research reputation and offers high quality teaching for the undergraduate MBChB programme and for the on-campus and online Masters in Public Health.

With a profile at the intersection of social sciences and public health, the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to producing internationally excellent research and knowledge exchange and delivering high quality teaching that contributes to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and the learning experience of our students.

Applications from candidates who have experience working with community partners (government, voluntary sector, health organisations) in their research and teaching are particularly welcomed.

This full time (35hrs per week), open ended position and is available from January 2020.
