The Department of Computer Science at Durham University seeks to appoint a number of Assistant Professors in Computer Science (Grade 7 or 8), or Associate Professors (Grade 9) for appropriately qualified candidates. We welcome applicants from the area of High Performance and Scientific Computing. We are particularly eager to hear from researchers with a focus on large-scale and heterogeneous computing, performance modelling and/or candidates who can create interdisciplinary links into computational application areas that are strong in Durham. Work around the convergence of HPC and AI is explicitly encouraged as it fits to Durham's recent activities around scientific computing and scientific data analysis/science.
