China Agricultural University (CAU) is a leading university located in Beijing with a history of over 100 years. CAU is ranked Top 30 out of more than 2,000 universities in China in 2018. Founded in 1994, International College Beijing (ICB) is one of the 19 colleges of CAU. ICB is a pioneer in the field of international education among Chinese education institutions. Under the collaboration with US and UK universities for more than 25 years, the American and British curriculum, teaching methods, and textbooks are adopted from abroad to ICB. The program has been accredited by NCA in US and QAA in UK. Being a college with English as teaching language, there are 1,100 undergraduate students taught by over 60 full time international faculties in ICB in this academic year. Subjects offered in ICB cover a wide range of studies including Economics, Communication, International Finance, Business Administration, etc.

We believe the most valuable resource is our teachers. To maintain high standard of teaching, we run an International Faculty Exchange Program to welcome candidates from all over the world with expertise in any field related to the various subjects of ICB.

Job description:

We welcome candidates with Master degree or above, PhD preferable, in subject fields including but not limited to:

  • Communication/English Teaching/Media and Communication/English Literature

Particularly we are interested in candidates who are:

  • High level fluency in English
  • Have a number of years of teaching experience in US or Chinese universities
  • Good communicators with strong sense of responsibility

This is a full-time/Part-time teaching position to teach Communication related courses to undergraduate students. These communication courses aim to develop the oral and written communicate skills in the academic environment.

Teaching hours per week: 16 hours

Student level: Undergraduate freshman

Class size: 20 - 30 students

Teaching facilities and materials: multimedia classrooms, English textbooks and reference materials

Begin date of next semester: February 24th, 2019.

Successful candidates will be given a compensation package including:
