Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems invites applications for a continuing/tenured position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting (equivalent to Assistant Professor/ Seasoned Assistant Professor).

What You Will Do

The position will involve teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level, undertaking postgraduate research supervision, and contributing actively and positively to the research profile of the Department and School and to university service.

Who You Are

Candidates should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in accounting. Academics with speciality teaching interests in Financial or Management Accounting are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should be able to demonstrate very good written and oral communication skills.  Successful candidates for the position of lecturer should have the potential to publish in high-quality, internationally recognized academic journals. Candidates for the position of senior lecturer should have a proven record of publications in such journals.

All candidates should have outstanding teaching skills and a commitment to quality teaching delivery; and be able and willing to contribute to School, College, and professional service activities. Candidates with experience in teaching larger undergraduate classes are particularly encouraged to apply.
