The Liverpool School of Architecture (LSA), University of Liverpool seeks to make an appointment a Research Associate with expertise in digital immersive technologies, real-time and/or responsive media. We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to support our team. You will be expected to produce published outputs and contribute to the School's ambition to produce internationally-excellent and world-leading research and impact.

You will be given the opportunity to contribute to the Bachelor and Master's teaching in Architecture, which has an increasing demand in digital immersive expertise, and/or provide input to our large PhD programme, as and where appropriate. You will be expected to undertake supporting administration (teaching and research related) and liaise with other staff, such as from the School of Architecture and the School of the Arts. You will receive mentoring and support to facilitate your career development beyond the initial fixed-term appointment.

For appointment at Grade 7 - A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with considerable relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

For Appointment at Grade 8 - PhD in a relevant discipline. Extensive experience in planning, co-ordinating and implementing research programmes in a relevant area in the higher education sector and/or industry.

Tenure: This post is available on a fixed term basis until 30 April 2022 (including a possible placement of circa 1 months at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, China).
