College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

English Language Education (ELE) at the Centre for Open Learning (COL) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated EAP specialists to teach in on its Online Pre-sessional Programme in Summer 2020. You will be joining an experienced teaching team at a leading Russell Group university in Scotland.

A BALEAP-accredited centre, English Language Education has been teaching international students for four decades. You’ll be working within an expert teaching team, whilst receiving the full support of dedicated professional services colleagues.

As well as rewarding, interesting work with highly motivated students, you will have excellent opportunities for CPD. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and those in the earlier stages of a career in teaching EAP in the HE sector.

A range of contract lengths may be available, based on the course dates below. The majority will be teaching for 7-weeks plus a paid online 5-day induction.

Monday 13th July – Friday 7th August 2020 - (3-week course)                          

Monday 3rd August - Friday 4th September 2020 - (4-week course)                       

Monday 10th August - Friday 11th September 2020 - (4-week course)                          

Candidates will be given the opportunity to discuss preferences if shortlisted for interview.

This is a full time (35 hours per week), fixed term post.
