This is a permanent post for a Healthcare or Bioscientist with expertise in the areas of Social Prescribing and Integrative health. The successful candidate will join a School of Life Sciences with a wide reputation for teaching and research and situated in the heart of London. The School hosts a suite of well- established undergraduate (BSc) and postgraduate (Masters) courses for both full-time and part-time students.
The appointed Senior Lecturer will complement and strengthen our existing teaching and research expertise and will take on the course leadership of our new MSc Integrative Health & Wellbeing degree as well as contributing to other degree programmes in the School.
Applicants should demonstrate evidence of distinction in research through high-quality publications and the ability or potential to obtain external grant funding in their research area. They should show enthusiasm for teaching, thereby contributing to taught course delivery and development in the School of Life Sciences. The School of Life Sciences undertakes teaching and research in the areas of physiology, biochemistry, biological sciences, biomedical science, exercise, molecular biology, pharmacology, public health and nutrition. Providing services for some 1800 students and 110 academic and research colleagues. As a team member, you will work closely with colleagues across the School and the wider University, to maintain the highest quality of teaching and student pastoral support and provide the best possible experience to School users (primarily students and academic and research staff) in the delivery of the School’s core activities.
