Salary: £16,736 to £17,682 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

An opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Support Technician for the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, based at the Sutton Bonington campus. The post will provide operational support to the animal facilities and clinical areas of the school.

Candidates should possess a minimum of a good standard of education evidenced by GCSEs (grade C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English or previous work experience in a similar/relevant role. This post requires a proactive approach, creativity and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will take a positive and flexible approach to work in order to deal with a variety of requests and tasks. This role requires a full UK driving license (unless disability precludes this) as you will be required to travel to remote locations.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.
