Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Applications are invited for a full-time position, with a contract of 24 months, ideally starting 1 August 2020 (conditional on funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development). The salary is commensurate with TV-AVH / TVöD EG 14.
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the GIGA’s contribution to a research network on “Sustainable Global Supply Chains” that will be established by the GIGA (in its Research Programme “Growth and Development”) together with the German Development Institute, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik. The aim of this new network is to synthesise, process, and mobilise existing knowledge for the evidence-based design of sustainable supply chains. The network also aims to generate new policy-relevant insights, for example on the impacts of sustainability standards/due diligence on trade, investment, and firms.
