We have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Nurse to carry out nursing duties for equine and farm animal patients, to assist with the practical instruction of veterinary students, and to give general assistance to clinicians with hospital and ambulatory cases.

You should have practical experience of equine nursing, good horse handling skills and an understanding of veterinary work.
We are seeking individuals with a passion for nursing, with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, students and clients. The ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision is essential.

You will be required to take part in an emergency on-call rota, covering one in three to five weekends, and one night a week, for which you will receive an additional payment.

Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
