This position is within the Antimicrobial Pharmacodynamics and Therapeutics group at the University of Liverpool. You will contribute to our extensive and world-leading program in experimental and clinical pharmacology of anti-infective agents. We have a wide repertoire of laboratory in vitro and in vivo models of infection, and use these to further understand optimal usage of antimicrobial agents.  Our reputation and track record is largely based on systemic antifungal and antibacterial agents for use in life-threatening infections. Our laboratory has a broad base of funding including industry, Innovative Medicines Initiative, EUFP7, Wellcome Trust. As a Bioanalytical Laboratory Technician, you should be qualified to BTEC National level (or equivalent) and be familiar with LC-MS. You should have extensive laboratory experience with a detailed understanding of working to GCP standards. You will have excellent organisational skills, good attention to detail, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to use initiative and multi-task.

The post is available for 12 months initially.
