Enthusiastic individuals are sought to make a major contribution to the Department’s activities in research and teaching. You will have an outstanding academic record, with indicators such as publications in top-tier journals and conferences, significant software artefact design and implementation, and academic awards. You will have a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education.

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful Computer Science departments and to be part of an exciting time of growth in the Department. We are looking for candidates who will extend the Department’s profile, especially in an applied direction or through industrial collaboration.

Candidates of underrepresented genders or ethnicities are encouraged. Staff with caring responsibilities are supported, and onsite childcare facilities are available. We will also consider applications for employment on a part time or other flexible working basis.

In addition to a completed application form, candidates should submit four documents (appropriately merged):

1. a cover letter, outlining merits and most significant achievements;
2. a research statement;
3. a teaching statement;
4. a Curriculum Vitae with a list of publications, where up to five most important publications are highlighted.

Informal enquires can be addressed to the Head of Department, Professor Ranko Lazic (R.S.Lazic@warwick.ac.uk).

Applicants invited for an interview will need to ensure that each of their three referees emails a letter of recommendation to the Departmental Secretary, Sharon Howard (S.L.Howard@warwick.ac.uk). It is expected that interviews will take place in January 2021.

Start date of the post: 1 April 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter.
