The Department is characterised by an innovative approach to education in partnership with industry, emphasising innovation and project delivery on a foundation of core engineering expertise. You will be an inspiring educator, who aims to develop project-based teaching in the context of real world applications, and thrives in a collegiate Department.  The department has recently been recognised as a member of CDIO.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape new developments in both teaching and research in a new department with new purpose-built facilities. Our plans include parallel investments in a number of other academic posts and a Medical Technology Research Centre.  Our new dedicated Engineering building opened in September 2019.  The successful candidate will have opportunity to develop teaching capability in these purpose-built new facilities.
