Ca’ Foscari is looking for a researcher of Systematic Botany capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.

Teaching activities:

Courses about Plant Biology in the framework of the BA in Environmental Studies.

In particular:

- Laboratorio di Biodiversità – Attività pratica di laboratorio (Modulo Vegetale) / Biodiversity Laboratory – practical activity

- Tecniche di Monitoraggio della Biodiversità / Biodiversity Monitoring Techniques

The assigned courses may change in line with the teaching plan that the Department approves every year.

Research Activity:

His scientific activity should contribute to the following topics: 1) taxonomic and functional analysis of biological diversity and 2) processes that regulate the structure, function and dynamics of species and habitat.

The position is at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics.

The Department is engaged in multidisciplinary research, carried out by brilliant researchers in the fields of environmental systems analysis, management and modelization of environmental and informatic systems, climate studies, complexity, preservation of cultural heritage and sustainability.
