Applications are invited for the above fixed-term, full-time post working in the Strategic Partnerships and Projects Office at Bangor University. The location of the post is in North Wales (the post could be based at Bangor University’s locations in Bangor or its Wrexham campus but will be flexible according to the current restrictions resulting from the Covid pandemic which currently require home working).
Duties will include the project management of new initiative in North East Wales to develop a new capacity for the delivery of skills and training for targeted sectors in North East Wales and which is being delivered jointly by Bangor University, Coleg Cambria and the Open University in Wales.
Candidates should be educated to a postgraduate degree standard (or equivalent experience) and have previous experience of working in in Higher Education, strong leadership qualities, experience of project management and be driven and outcome oriented.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence immediately or as soon as possible, the position will last until the end of February 2022.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
