You are a highly motivated and successful senior fundraiser, seeking an exciting opportunity to deploy your talents to help grow philanthropic income for a leading UK university. Target driven and keen to maintain demanding levels of engagement to achieve your goals, you will take a leading role in generating transformational funding to support Lancaster’s mission to deliver pioneering research and teaching, promote sustainability and widen participation in higher education.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, Alumni and Supporter Engagement, and working closely with senior colleagues and supporters, you will have responsibility for leading and motivating a growing team to drive forward our ambitious fundraising plans.
To stand out from the crowd, you will possess the skills, knowledge and personal attributes – including a persuasive and inspiring work style – commensurate with a track record of success in senior fundraising roles. As an ambassador for the University, you will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to work successfully with influential individuals and organisations.
