The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the area of computational neuroscience, to join the Neural Computation Research Group.
The appointee will be expected to take an active role in providing high quality and innovative teaching and perform internationally-leading research. Interest in developing innovative ways of integrating teaching, research and technology development will be especially welcomed.
What will you be doing?
Research: You will be expected to carry out excellent research complementing that currently being pursued in the Department and to publish high-quality publications in high-ranking venues.
Teaching: Take an active role in providing high quality and innovative teaching in the Department. This will include lecture courses, personal tutoring, problem classes, computer laboratories as well as supervising projects, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Citizenship: Contribute to the effective running of the Department, School and Faculty by undertaking academic leadership roles as specified by the Head of Department.
