We have an opportunity for a Junior Biostatistician within the Robertson Centre for Biostatistics, within the Glasgow Clinical Trial Unit. The role involves the statistical analysis of data from clinical trials and other health research projects, mainly under the supervision of more senior staff.  We are looking for someone with a good understanding of medical statistics, with good statistical programming skills, and with a passion for applying those skills in the delivery of high-quality medical research.

Candidates should be qualified to SCQF Level 10 [Honours degree] in a relevant subject or a cognate discipline, or equivalent honours BSc in Statistics or Statistics with Mathematics, or MSc in Statistics or Biostatistics, or equivalent, along with a demonstrable knowledge of relevant statistics and statistical analysis and a basic understanding of clinical trial and epidemiological study design.

This post is full time (35 hours) and has funding for up to 2 years.
