Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Professor Andrea Cipriani’s research group. You will be working on an NIHR funded project investigating personalised treatment of depression using big data, artificial intelligence and patient preferences. You will be based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.  

The post is for a fixed term (funded from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022.

You will build and curate a large dataset of randomised controlled trials, observational studies and real-world data to create an interactive platform to inform shared decision-making at individual patient level. You will manage a large group of researchers (both locally and remotely, and act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on methodologies or procedures.

You will have or be close to completion of a Ph.D/D.Phil. in Psychiatry/Neuroscience or a relevant subject, together with relevant research experience. With experience of independently managing a research project, you will have the excellent communication and interpersonal skills need to liaise at an international level with researchers, pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies, study authors and funders.  Familiarity of at least one statistical software (RevMan, R, STATA) would be desirable.
