Applications are invited for the post of Applicant Services Team Leader, in the Marketing and Communications Directorate.
This is an important role, which will play a key part in delivering Royal Holloway’s ambitions to grow. You’ll lead a small applicant services team, taking responsibility for day to day workload management and ensuring that enquiries from applicants and prospective applicants are handled in a proactive, efficient and customer-focused way. You will also oversee administration of Royal Holloway’s central scholarship provision
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus, evidenced through experience of working in a customer-facing role. You will be able to work well under pressure, anticipate problems and manage workload to meet agreed targets and service levels. Experience of motivating and supporting a team would also be an advantage.
An understanding of Higher Education admissions would be useful but is not essential.
The applicant services team is one of three within the university admissions office and to be successful, you will need to work collaboratively with colleagues in the other teams, which are responsible for application processing and selection.
