At a time of profound global change in economies, societies and cultures the Department of Allied Health Professions is transforming healthcare education to equip our graduates to transform lives. We are working in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders to provoke new thinking within the health and care sectors. We recognise that excellence in research is critical to the quality of our educational activities, our credibility and our vision.
The Department is now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented research leader to join our academic team. You will significantly contribute to the leadership of research across the allied health professions, working closely with colleagues in the health and social care departments and the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation to take a central role in health and social care research. You must have the ability to identify and lead research into original areas of enquiry, and have outputs suitable for submission to REF2027.
You will have the highest level of academic credibility and intellectual standing, and a record of individual research excellence, influence and esteem including an internationally recognised research profile in the fields of Allied Health. You will have evidence of high quality peer reviewed research publications at 3* and above that can be returned in REF 2027 and a strong academic reputation at local, national and international levels in a field related to the allied health professions.
