We have an exciting opportunity to work as an Executive Assistant in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities.
As Executive Assistant you will provide executive level support to the Vice-President, Head of Faculty and the Faculty Director of Operations in their day to day role and on projects and activities related to the Faculty and University. Due to the complexity of their roles, it is essential that you are able to work quickly to meet deadlines, to balance priorities and to respond promptly and appropriately on a wide range of issues.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build effective relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders. Working in a busy and dynamic environment you will manage your own workload, juggle tasks and meet strict deadlines. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail, with experience of managing items of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
Based within the Faculty Office and reporting to the Faculty Director of Operations, you will work closely with our Faculty Executive, faculty and departmental teams and other staff, including executive assistants across the university. You will line manage the Faculty Executive Support team, who work collectively to provide excellent support to the Faculty Directors and key stakeholders.
