Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, you will lead the team that provides evening support for our students and academic colleagues across both site libraries. Usually based at the Sydney Jones Library, you will be responsible for Help Desk support and supervision, reception, roving and building management operations as well as online chat and email. Working closely with the Customer Services Manager you will ensure provision of a high-quality service to library users and continuity of customer experience from the day to evening. You will have significant experience of team management or supervision and of working in a busy service environment with a proven commitment to excellent customer care. You will have a relevant professional qualification or substantial equivalent experience in a similar role. You will have a positive and flexible approach to work and an ability to work well within a team of other managers. The post is fixed term until June 2023 working 28 hours per week to be arranged.
