We are looking for experienced and customer focused Senior Building Attendants to join our team at University Park. Main duties will include inspecting the infrastructure of the buildings, reporting maintenance issues and setting up meeting rooms ensuring adequate supplies of consumables are available for teaching and conferences. You will also and lock and unlock designated areas of the building issuing and receiving keys from staff and contractors ensuring relevant policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
A large part of this role includes being the first point of contact for visitors to the area which includes dealing with large numbers of enquiries face to face, by phone and by e-mail ensuring excellent customer service is achieved at all times. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleaning standards within the area also induct, train and supervise the cleaning team carrying out appraisal conversations as required.
Candidates should have experience of working in a similar customer facing environment and have relevant cleaning experience. You will also have experience of supervising staff and ideally have basic maintenance experience and knowledge of fire and security alarm systems.
Hours of work are 12 hours per week, worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (Mainly Saturday and Sunday) between either 6.00am – 12.30pm or 11.30am and 6.00pm. Flexibility to work either shift will be required.
These posts will be offered on a permanent basis for 52 weeks of the year. Further details regarding the duties for this post can be found on the attached job role profile.
The successful candidates will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings on the first week of appointment. Further details will be given at interview.
