An exciting opportunity has become available to work full-time on a 22-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). The project aims to increase growth through investigating the generation of a type of stem cell from cancer specific immune cells, to isolate rarer cell populations from cancers, develop a treatment with enhanced activity, and potentially develop this as a treatment that can be used to treat many patients.
Instil Bio specialises in developing adoptive cell therapies for cancer. They have been manufacturing tumour infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapies as a personalised treatment for metastatic melanoma, achieving a successful response rate and a number of 'cures'. The aim is to develop TIL therapy for melanoma and other solid cancers.
