Applications are invited for the above permanent full time post working in the Strategic Partnerships and Projects Team in in the University’s Corporate Services office.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Development Officer to deliver a strategic step-change in the University’s commercial strategy development and implementation. The post holder will develop and deliver major themes of activity to deliver a step change in the University’s commercial development and partnerships across its academic and research domain. They will play a leading role in the development and leadership of commercial opportunity targets but also the development of a commercial culture and commercial skills across the University, supporting the embedding of commercial skills in the professional services and supporting the design and implementation of commercial governance to ensure agility and clarity in our commercial thinking and decision making.

Candidates should be educated to post-graduate degree standard (or have equivalent experience) and have previous experience of commercial development in a relevant or comparable setting to higher education.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
