About the Role:
The Faculty of Business and Law takes an innovative approach to education, working closely with national and international businesses to offer contemporary, professionally accredited and employment focussed undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Continued growth allows us to offer additional faculty positions in our Business School. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our on-campus, corporate and international work, as well as developing your own research and scholarship interests.
Our School of Economics, Finance and Law within the Faculty of Business and Law is seeking to build on existing strengths by seeking to appoint two competent member of academic staff who can contribute to a growing teaching and research portfolio in the areas of Accounting and Finance. With a Higher Degree or relevant professional qualification in subject discipline at post graduate level.
You will ideally have a PhD or Professional Doctorate or ACCA qualifications. Practical experiences in Accounting and Finance will be advantageous. You will contribute to our suite of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK, as well as the joint programmes in China. You will also be central to the development and delivery of our existing Accounting and Finance modules, and the wider business academic curriculum throughout the school. You will also be expected to be involved in contributing towards developing new accounting and finance module and participate in our curriculum revision as appropriate.
