The Post

The Research Integrity and Ethics Administrator will support the Research Integrity and Governance Manager in delivering and supporting research integrity and governance processes. The role holder will be responsible for all operational and administrative aspects of the research integrity and ethics processes, which supports effective research management. They will coordinate the communication of all integrity and ethics related support material to academic colleagues and also via online resources, updating details as required. They will deliver a highly professional level of administration as the first point of contact for integrity and ethics related enquiries.  

Description of Duties

  • Implement and support best practice administrative processes related to research integrity, governance and ethics
  • Ensure that all integrity and ethics resources, particularly online, are up-to-date.
  • Provide ongoing support for the maintenance of the ethics systems, including the provision of guidance for users

Essential Criteria

  • Educated to HND level or equivalent (where no formal qualifications are held, additional, relevant experience is required)
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a busy office
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance in response to customer enquiries in complex, technical areas
