An opportunity has arisen within the Catering Department at Surrey Sports Park for a proactive, self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our team.

As a Kitchen Porter at this busy prestigious Sports Park you will work closely with the team in ensuring a clean hygienic environment is maintained at all times. This a 7-day operation and will be working 38 hours per week over 5 days including early mornings, evenings and weekends as rostered by the Head Chef.

You will ideally come from a catering background and have good skills along with a real drive to succeed and grow.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that all areas are clean and hygienic
  • Cleaning all equipment within the catering department in an efficient manner
  • Ensuring correct use and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • Following and completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Receiving, recording and ensuring correct storage of deliveries
  • Ensure refuse is removed from the kitchen and stored correctly
  • Assist with basic food preparation as required
