Applications are invited for the position of a full-time research associate (lab manager) at the University of Glasgow’s Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology. The successful candidate will support all research-related activities conducted in the research groups of Prof. Maria Wimber and Prof. Simon Hanslmayr. Both groups are based in the Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging, and their research is focused on understanding the neural basis of long-term memory. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual with excellent communication skills. The post holder’s duties are partly administrative and partly supporting the research directly. Administrative duties include management of the PIs research budgets, support with ethics applications, organisation of meetings, help with travel arrangements, and management of the laboratories and equipment. Directly supporting the research, the candidate will help with participant recruitment, data collection, analysing data, and contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals.
