Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 12th October 2021

A self-motivated individual is required to provide a professional service for undergraduate programme delivery within the division, as well as our International Teaching Partnerships. You will be a member of the undergraduate administrative team of Teaching Office Coordinators, dealing with Teaching Office systems and processes for Biomedical and Life Sciences (BLS) UG programmes.

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of the administrative team within this busy division. Experience of using a range of administrative processes, ideally within an educational environment; and experience of Microsoft Office packages is essential.

You will be based in Biomedical and Life Sciences, part of the Faculty of Health & Medicine and will interact with academic staff, technical support staff and students. The Faculty of Health and Medicine consists of three divisions, Health Research, Lancaster Medical School and BLS.

BLS is responsible for the delivery of several undergraduate degree schemes including the accredited BSc in Biomedical Science. As well as having impressive research facilities and infrastructure, our research excellence also underpins the provision of our Masters programmes and the division has a thriving community of PhD students.

The Faculty of Health & Medicine provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research. This role could be undertaken as a blended position with a mix of working remotely through MS teams and working on campus, although solely working on campus is an option also.
