Full Time Post: 36.25 hours per week
The Careers & Professional Practice Advisors (CPPAs) work within the Careers & Professional Practice Hub to support, develop and prepare Creative Arts graduates for future employment, further study, lifelong learning, and a sustainable creative life. This work will fall into two main equally weighted areas:
Firstly, to Integrate, develop and oversee live briefs, placement with respective School Academic Leads and a Student Facilitator to work together to achieve the transformation of our employability offer, bringing consistency of offer, and sharing of best practice. Alongside traditional placements, CPPAs will oversee civically themed placements/live briefs and programmes across three areas, co-created by the School’s, Student Facilitator, and alumni/industry.
Secondly, work with colleagues across the University to identify and embed an inclusive, holistic programme of careers education, information, advice, and guidance that will equip students with the knowledge, skills and graduate attributes for highly skilled employment including self-employment, further study, and creative life. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, develop courses across HE and PG provision and whilst working specifically to one HE School, they will also support other Schools.
